Pigeon Forge · Veterans tribute and the trolley hub
Pigeon Forge's hometown park, a strip of green beside the Old Mill with a path along the Little Pigeon River, flags of all fifty states lining the walkway and a Patriot missile at the centre as a tribute to Sevier County veterans. The practical reason to know it: the city's transit centre sits in the parking lot, and in peak season all six trolley routes start and end here — so you can leave the car and ride the Parkway instead of crawling along it.

Patriot Park is Pigeon Forge's hometown park, a green space in the middle of town right next to the historic Old Mill. It's free to visit, with a walking path along the Little Pigeon River, a tribute to local veterans, and the city's main trolley stop.
Stop by for a stroll, park the car and catch the trolley, or come back for one of the big community events held here throughout the year.
Patriot Park is dedicated to the men and women from Sevier County who served during wartime. At the center of the park stands a Patriot Missile, the type made famous during the first Gulf War. Flags from all 50 states and every branch of the armed forces line the walkway, making it a striking spot for photos.
The park's walking path follows the shore of the Little Pigeon River and is a local favorite for an easy loop. It's a nice way to stretch your legs after a big breakfast or a long day at the attractions.
Patriot Park's parking lot is the hub for the Pigeon Forge trolley system. Parking is free, so it's a great place to leave the car and ride the trolley to Dollywood and stops up and down the Parkway, skipping the traffic and parking fees. Learn more in our Pigeon Forge trolley guide.
The park hosts some of Pigeon Forge's favorite community events. The biggest is the Patriot Festival, a free Fourth of July celebration with live music, food, games and a fireworks finale. The park also hosts the Rotary Club craft fair and a community Easter egg hunt, and it takes part in Pigeon Forge's Winterfest season. Planning a holiday trip? See our July 4th cabin rentals.
