Hollywood Star Cars Museum

The Hollywood Star Cars Museum is a Gatlinburg car museum packed with more than 50 vehicles from movies, TV shows, and the garages of famous stars. Open since 1996, it shows the cars in recreated scenes with sound and lighting, so you feel like you've stepped into the show instead of looking at a car behind a rope.

The collection

TV and movie classics

Many of the cars here were built by George Barris, the custom car designer behind some of Hollywood's best-known vehicles. The museum's 1966 TV Batmobile is his most famous build, and you'll also find the Ghostbusters Ecto-1, the Munsters Drag-u-la, and the car from The Flintstones. Other favorites include the Batmobile from Batman Returns, a DeLorean from Back to the Future, the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard, the Beverly Hillbillies truck, the patrol car from The Andy Griffith Show, and the storm-chasing truck from Twister.

The Fast & Furious collection

A whole section is devoted to cars from the Fast & Furious movies, a big hit with teenagers and car fans.

Celebrity cars

See personal vehicles owned by entertainment stars, including Elvis Presley, the Beach Boys, Bob Hope, Dolly Parton, and Michael Jackson.
