Gatlinburg SkyPark

Gatlinburg SkyPark, formerly the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, sits on top of Crockett Mountain right above downtown. Ride the yellow SkyLift chairlift up the mountain, walk across the 680-foot Gatlinburg SkyBridge, explore the SkyTrail and Tulip Tower, and take in views of the town and Great Smoky Mountains National Park from the top.

The Gatlinburg SkyLift

Your visit starts on the Parkway with a ride on the Gatlinburg SkyLift, the yellow chairlift that has carried visitors up the mountain since the 1950s. The open-air ride climbs about 500 vertical feet to the top of Crockett Mountain, with views of downtown and the mountains the whole way up.

The Gatlinburg SkyBridge

The SkyBridge is the highlight. This pedestrian suspension bridge stretches 680 feet across a mountain gap, about 140 feet above the forest at its middle. Right in the center are glass floor panels where you can look straight down into the trees. The bridge moves a little as you walk, and the view of the national park is wide open on both sides.

The SkyDeck and SkyCenter

At the top, the SkyDeck is a big outdoor viewing area with seating, right next to the SkyCenter, which has a snack shop and bar, a gift shop, and souvenir photos. It's a great place to sit and take in the view before or after crossing the bridge.

The SkyTrail and Tulip Tower

The SkyTrail is a walking path through the woods on top of the mountain. Partway along, you'll reach Tulip Tower, a steel observation tower with viewing platforms that look out over the ridges. It's an easy way to spend more time up top and see the mountain from a different angle.

A single SkyPark ticket covers the SkyLift ride, the SkyBridge, the SkyDeck, the SkyTrail, and Tulip Tower. Young children are free. Prices and package options change, so buy tickets in advance at gatlinburgskypark.com for current rates and a quicker start.
