The SkyLift
The journey begins on the Parkway with a ride on the yellow SkyLift chairlift — one of the most recognizable landmarks in Gatlinburg. The open-air lift ascends to Crockett Summit with sweeping views of the mountains and the town on the way up. It's a leisurely, scenic ride that sets the tone for everything at the top, and it's included with all SkyPass tickets.
The SkyBridge
The centerpiece, and the record it's known for — the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America, spanning 680 feet across a mountain gap with open-grate flooring and unobstructed views of the Smokies below.
The bridge sways gently in the wind, and the view straight down through the grating is not for the faint of heart. Crossing it sounds simple until you're out there, and it's completely unforgettable once you are.
Clayton's Landing
The park's newest expansion — a mountaintop overlook and gathering area on the far side of the SkyBridge, with panoramic views of the national park, fire pits, and seating. It's the destination after the crossing, and the place where most guests sit down and realize they want to stay longer than planned.
SkyTrail and Tulip Tower
A 1.5-mile trail system winds through the mountain terrain from the summit. The SkyTrail leads to Tulip Tower, an observation point where you can learn about the flora and fauna of the Smokies and take in the surrounding ridgelines. Both are accessible from the summit and included with SkyPass admission.
Dining and drinks
Smoky Mountain Smash serves fresh-smashed burgers on the mountaintop — one of the more unexpected and genuinely good dining experiences in Gatlinburg. Smoky Mountain SIPS handles craft beverages and cocktails alongside the views.
