Sky Harbor is a large wooded cabin community in the hills between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, reached by King Branch Road off the Spur. Cabins here trade Parkway bustle for mountain quiet, while keeping both towns within easy reach.
Between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg
Sky Harbor sits just off the Spur, the stretch of US 441 that links Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. That puts Dollywood and the Pigeon Forge Parkway in one direction and downtown Gatlinburg and the national park in the other, so you can plan days in both towns without a long commute.
Paved, maintained roads
The community's interior roads are private and paved, and the property owners association maintains them, including snow removal. Some roads still climb and wind as they head up the ridge.
Wooded and quiet
Sky Harbor is spread across the hillside, so cabins tend to feel tucked into the trees. Many have mountain views, so check each cabin's photos for the view from its deck.
Toward Pigeon Forge, you'll find Dollywood, The Island in Pigeon Forge and the LeConte Center. Toward Gatlinburg, there's Anakeesta, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Guests visiting both towns
If your plans include Dollywood one day and Gatlinburg the next, a base between the two saves time on the road.
Follow your cabin directions
Sky Harbor covers a lot of hillside, and GPS doesn't always choose the best route. Use the directions we send with your arrival details.
Drive the mountain roads with care
Roads in the community are narrow and winding in places. Take it slow, especially after dark or in winter weather.
Skip the fireworks and open fires
The community asks guests not to set off fireworks or burn outdoors, to help protect the forest and the cabins around you.
Give bears space
Black bears live throughout the Smokies. Keep your distance, never feed them, and keep trash secured.
