A hillside bird park and gardens · Walk-in aviary where lorikeets feed from your hand

Parrot Mountain and Gardens, also known as Parrot Mountain and Garden of Eden, is a hillside bird park in Pigeon Forge where you can see, feed and get up close with colorful tropical birds while strolling through beautifully landscaped gardens. It's a peaceful, hands-on change of pace from the busy Parkway.
The park sits on a mountainside near Dollywood, with paved paths winding past bird cottages, flower beds, stonework and a waterfall.
Tropical birds up close
Parrots, macaws, cockatoos, toucans, hornbills and many more species live throughout the park, many on open perches and in garden cottages where you can see them up close.
Feed the birds
In the bird garden, you can hand-feed the parrots and pose for photos with them. Inside the lory aviary, lorikeets flock to the nectar cups in your hand, a favorite moment for kids.
The baby bird nursery
Stop by the nursery to see baby birds and watch them being cared for.
The Secret Garden
Step through the little yellow door into the Secret Garden, where toucans, hornbills and magpies fly freely around you.
Between the bird areas, paved walkways lead through thousands of flowers and plants, stone features, a waterfall and quiet spots to sit. A prayer garden adds a reflective corner to the walk. The setting is a big part of the experience, so take your time.
An on-site deli serves casual lunch you can enjoy outdoors, and a gift shop carries bird-themed souvenirs. Parrot Mountain also has a satellite shop at The Island in Pigeon Forge.
