The Broncos are rolling back into Pigeon Forge — and this weekend is the one. The 4th Annual Great Smoky Mountain Bronco® Stampede takes over LeConte Event Center for two full days of Show & Shine competition, indoor and outdoor vendors, professional onsite installations, and every configuration of the legendary Bronco® you can imagine.

The Stampede runs 9–5 both days, leaving your evenings open. A few things worth doing around the event:
Old Mill Square — Pick up stone-ground cornmeal, locally made candy, and Tennessee pottery from the historic 1830 grist mill district just minutes from LeConte. A great stop for a casual post-event hour.
Dinner shows — Paula Deen's Lumberjack Feud Supper Show, Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud, and Dolly Parton's Stampede all operate evenings throughout August. Book in advance for Saturday night.
The Island — Free to enter, with restaurants, the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, and a full entertainment corridor that works well for an evening out without a reservation.
Cades Cove — If you're up early Sunday before the event opens at 9 AM, the Cades Cove Loop Road opens at 8 AM. A quick wildlife drive before heading to the Stampede is a genuinely great Pigeon Forge morning.
