Three ways to reach the summit, each included with general admission:

Crystal Express Gondola — New for 2026, the world's only all-glass gondola with 56 glass-bottom cabin cars, each holding up to 6 guests. The ride to the summit takes approximately 4 minutes — fast, enclosed, and with unobstructed Smoky Mountain views through the glass floor and walls. The best option for young children, strollers, guests with mobility considerations, and anyone who wants to arrive at the top dry on a rainy day.

Chondola — The original enclosed gondola cabins. Still operating alongside the Crystal Express as an alternative enclosed option. Accommodates wheelchairs with a provided ramp.

Ridge Rambler — An open-air adventure truck that travels up the mountain at forest level rather than above it, providing a different perspective on the terrain. Good for guests who want the forest-floor experience before arriving at the summit views.

What's Included with General Admission

Treetop Skywalk — Over 1,000 feet of suspended walkways across 16 hanging bridges, 50–60 feet above the forest floor. Currently operating on a modified route during expansion construction — check anakeesta.com for the current configuration. The Treetop Skywalk is Anakeesta's signature experience and the reason most first-time visitors come back: the perspective of being at canopy level in an old-growth Appalachian forest, looking out across the ridge, is genuinely unlike anything available at ground level. The best experience in the park for families with children of any age.

AnaVista Tower — The highest point above downtown Gatlinburg, with 360-degree views of the Smoky Mountain ridgeline, see-through glass flooring at the observation level, and mountain peak markers identifying Mt. LeConte and the surrounding peaks. The photography from the tower is outstanding at any time of day; sunset from the tower is a specifically recommended experience.

Vista Gardens — A botanical garden with winding pathways, creative sculptures, and interactive elements woven through the mountain landscape. The sensory design is sophisticated enough for adults and accessible enough for young children simultaneously.

Cliff Top Restaurant — The main dining venue at the summit, with panoramic mountain views from the dining room and patio. Burgers, sandwiches, and Southern favorites. Plan a reservation or early arrival on peak days — the combination of the view and the food quality makes this the most popular dining stop in the park.

Smokehouse BBQ — Slow-smoked barbecue at the summit. The pulled pork and brisket are specifically recommended by returning visitors.
