A Smokies tradition since 1975
Stages West was founded in 1975 with a vision rooted in family, faith and country, and the Houser family ran it for three generations. In 2022, the family chose Ariat, the Western and equestrian brand, to carry the store forward, keeping the same focus on quality and service.
Boots
Boots are the heart of the store, with styles for men, women and kids, from ranch-ready work boots to dressy boots for a night out. Brands include Ariat, Lucchese, Corral, Black Jack and more. Staff can help with fit, and boot care products are on hand to keep your new pair looking good for years.
Hats and the Hat Doctor
Find classic and modern Western hats in a wide range of styles. Stages West's Hat Doctor service handles shaping, cleaning, brim trims, pencil rolls and stiffening, so you can get a hat shaped just the way you want it or bring an old favorite back to life.
Boot steaming and stretching
New boots a little snug? The store offers boot steaming and stretching to help break them in or loosen a pair that has gotten tight.
Clothing and accessories
