The experience

Mysterious Mansion is entirely self-guided. There are no tour groups, no guided routes, and no predetermined path. Guests find their own way through secret passageways, dark corridors, winding staircases, and chambers spread across three floors — while restless residents lurk around corners, behind doors, and in the spaces between rooms.

That unguided format is what separates it from every other haunted attraction in town. The uncertainty is real, the darkness is genuine, and the actors are committed to making sure nobody gets out without screaming at least once.

Seasonal presentations

Halloween weekends — through October, the mansion raises the intensity with special presentations featuring more scares, additional actors, and a new theme each year. It's the most intense version of the experience, and worth planning ahead for.

Christmas — themed holiday presentations run daily through the season, and have become a surprisingly popular tradition.

Getting there on foot

• From the Parkway — walk through Town Center Plaza and down to River Road; the mansion is just across the street
• From Ripley's Aquarium — take the Riverwalk along River Road; the mansion is a few short blocks down on the right, next to the Edgewater Hotel
