Rockin' Raceway

Rockin' Raceway Arcade is an indoor arcade on the Pigeon Forge Parkway, linked to The Island by a pedestrian bridge. It's an easy stop when the weather turns, when the kids need a break from walking, or when you want one more round of games before heading back to the cabin.

The arcade sits at 2839 Parkway, in the busiest stretch of Pigeon Forge. It's run by FACE Amusement Group, which also operates Arcade City at The Island and Big Top Arcade. Inside you'll find arcade and redemption games, a prize counter, and a play-card system that keeps track of everything for you. A pedestrian bridge carries you over the Parkway to The Island and Three Bears General Store, so it fits easily into a night out without moving the car.

What to expect inside

Rockin' Raceway is built for families who like to play for prizes. The floor mixes skill and action games with redemption games that pay out tickets, and those tickets go toward prizes at the counter. There's something for every age, from little ones who just want to hit buttons to older kids and adults chasing a high score.

The whole arcade is indoors, and in the Smokies that matters more than you'd think. Afternoon storms roll through in summer, the Parkway can get hot by midday, and winter evenings get chilly fast. An indoor stop like this keeps the day moving when outdoor plans fall through.

Go at your own pace. Some families stop in for twenty minutes between dinner and the drive home. Others make it the main event and spend a good part of the evening saving tickets for a bigger prize. Either way works.

How the play card works

Rockin' Raceway calls itself a green facility. Instead of coins or paper ticket strips, every game runs on a reloadable play card. Here's how it works:

  • Load the card. Buy a play card at the arcade, or buy one ahead of time from FACE Amusement's online shop.
  • Swipe to play. Each game has a card reader. Swipe and the game starts.
  • Collect tickets automatically. When a redemption game pays out, the tickets load straight onto your card. There's no stack of paper to count or carry.
  • Cash in at the prize counter. Bring the card to the counter when you're ready to pick out prizes.
  • Bring it back. The card is reloadable, so keep it for your next visit.

Game prices and card values change, so check the arcade's official page before you go.

Tips for families

A little planning makes an arcade night more fun and a lot less stressful:

  • Give each kid their own card. Load a set amount on each one. When the card runs out, they're done, with no negotiating over "just one more."
  • Talk about prizes first. Younger kids often want to cash in after every game. Agree up front on whether you're saving for one bigger prize or picking small ones as you go.
  • Save it for when you need it. Rockin' Raceway makes a great rainy-day backup. Keep it in your back pocket for a storm, a hot afternoon, or the end of a long day at the parks.
  • Pair it with dinner at The Island. Eat across the Parkway, then walk the bridge over for games, or the other way around.

The Rockin' Three Bears Bridge

The biggest change at Rockin' Raceway is how you get there. The Rockin' Three Bears Bridge is a pedestrian bridge that connects The Island, Rockin' Raceway Arcade and Three Bears General Store. It opened in July 2026 with a ribbon-cutting by FACE Amusement Group and DeLozier Enterprises.

The Parkway is a busy road, and crossing it on foot with kids used to take patience. The bridge takes you over the traffic instead. Park once, then walk between The Island, the arcade and Three Bears General Store without getting back in the car or crossing the Parkway at street level.

Across the bridge at The Island

The Island in Pigeon Forge is the main event on this side of town, with live music, attractions, dining and shopping. Its centerpiece is the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, an observation wheel with climate-controlled gondolas and views of the Smokies. Don't miss The Island's show fountain while you're there.

Arcade fans can make a full night of it. Arcade City, another FACE Amusement arcade, is at The Island, so you can play one arcade, walk the bridge and play another. For more options around town, see our guide to the best arcades in Pigeon Forge, including Big Top Arcade.

Next door: Three Bears General Store

The bridge also connects to Three Bears General Store, a Pigeon Forge shopping stop since 1979. The store covers 40,000 square feet, with gifts and souvenirs, ice cream and sweets, and a Make-UR-Bear Factory where kids can build and dress their own stuffed bear. It's an easy add-on before or after the arcade, especially if someone's hoping to take home a souvenir.

Plan a Parkway evening

Rockin' Raceway works best as part of a bigger night on the Parkway. Here's one easy way to put it together:

  • Late afternoon: Park once and start at The Island. Shop, ride the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, and find somewhere for dinner.
  • After dinner: Watch the show fountain, then walk the Rockin' Three Bears Bridge over the Parkway.
  • Evening: Play at Rockin' Raceway, cash in your tickets, and stop by Three Bears General Store for something sweet on the way back.
