Pigeon Forge · 5,400 feet of track, up to 18 minutes
Five thousand four hundred feet of track, which takes about ten minutes flat out and closer to eighteen if you ride the brake — far longer than most mountain coasters, which are done in three or four. Four climbs, four drops, and your own hand brake setting the pace. Mini golf and a gem mine share the site on Teaster Lane, and the coaster runs after dark, which is the better ride.

Lost Mine Mountain Coaster & Mini Golf brings a mountain coaster, trick-shot mini golf and a gem mine together in one stop in downtown Pigeon Forge. Everything is themed around an old mine, with the Lost Mine bears popping up along the way.
The coaster is the star. It's the longest mountain coaster ride in the area, and you control the speed.
Depending on how fast you go, a ride lasts about 10 to 18 minutes. The track climbs and drops four times, with four uphill sections and four downhill runs. Hand brakes let you cruise slowly to take in the views, or let it fly at up to about 30 miles per hour. Each cart holds one or two riders.
The coaster runs year-round, even in the rain. It only shuts down when there's lightning nearby, and if the weather closes it for a while, you'll get a rain check.
Who can ride
Riders must be at least 3 years old and 38 inches tall. Riders between 38 and 54 inches tall must ride with an adult. Each cart has a weight limit, which is lower in wet or icy conditions.
The 18-hole course is packed with interactive theming and trick shots. Look for the creek jump, the honey chutes, mine carts and a loop-the-loop. You can reserve tee times online, and combo packages pair mini golf with the coaster.
Holes 1 through 8 and hole 18 are ADA accessible and can be played twice for a full nine-hole round. ADA golf clubs are available on request.
Pan for treasure at the Lost Mine gem mine. Choose from different bag sizes, and the biggest bag adds fossils, shark's teeth and arrowheads to the gems.
Ride after dark: Lost Mine is open into the evening, so you can ride the coaster at night.
Rain or shine: The coaster runs in the rain. Only lightning shuts it down.
Accessibility: Coaster riders must be able to control their arms and legs and walk out of the ride area in an evacuation. Nine mini golf holes are ADA accessible.
Make it a day: Lost Mine is in downtown Pigeon Forge, close to The Island and the rest of the Parkway's attractions.
