Operate real CAT excavators and John Deere equipment · 27 acres on Veterans Boulevard in Sevierville

Dig'n Zone Theme Park is a family-owned construction theme park in Sevierville where kids and adults climb into the driver's seat of real construction and farm equipment. Instead of watching the big machines from the sidewalk, you get to dig, scoop, lift, roll and crush with them yourself. The park's tagline sums it up: "Real Equipment. Real Fun."
The park sits on Veterans Boulevard in Sevierville, a short drive from Pigeon Forge and our Smoky Mountain cabins. It's one of the most hands-on attractions in the area, and a must for any family with a young equipment fan.
Operate real machines
Dig'n Zone's attractions are built around real CAT excavators, skid steers, pavement rollers and John Deere farm equipment, each turned into a game or challenge. Scoop and dump material, pluck gators out of a pond, fit pipe together, swing a wrecking ball, mow a course or roll a car flat. Staff walk you through the controls, so no experience is needed.
Rides for little operators
Younger kids get their own lineup of electric tractors and dumpers, small buggies, pedal cars and a barrel train. A tram tours the grounds, and a spinning thrill ride powered by a full-size excavator gives older kids and adults something with more of a jolt.
Games, gems and giant machines
Between turns at the controls, pan for treasures at the gem mine, test your skills at the games and arcade, and check out the vintage heavy equipment on display around the park, from massive draglines and mining trucks to an oversized tire. A cafe, a gift shop and a stage for performers and events round out the day.
Kids who love trucks and diggers
If your child points at every excavator on the highway, this is the stop of the trip. Height requirements apply to operating and riding, but on many attractions a parent or guardian can bring smaller children along.
Grown-ups, too
Adults who have always wanted to run an excavator get just as much out of it, so it works for multigenerational groups, couples and friends.
Groups
Dig'n Zone also hosts birthday parties, school groups and team-building outings, which makes it a fun pick for family reunions and larger cabin groups.
Sign the waiver ahead of time
Everyone entering the park, including non-participants, needs a signed waiver. Complete it online before you go to speed up check-in.
Dress for the outdoors
Most of the action is outside, so wear sneakers, bring sunscreen and plan around the weather. Shoes are required at all times.
Check the calendar
Operating days and hours vary by season, so check the park calendar on the Dig'n Zone website before you head over.
Plan the rest of the day
Pair it with go-karts at NASCAR SpeedPark or a cave tour at Forbidden Caverns. For more ideas, see our guide to Sevierville attractions and our list of kid-friendly attractions in Sevierville.
