River Rush sits on a bluff above the Little Pigeon River, and the rocking chairs on the covered deck look directly down at the water. The hot tub is there for the evenings when the view and the river sounds aren't quite enough. One bedroom, two baths, a stone fireplace under cathedral ceilings, and a loft with a jetted tub. For two people who want the river as the backdrop to everything, River Rush delivers exactly that.

The Living Area & Kitchen

Cathedral ceilings with exposed beams, leather seating, a stone fireplace running from October through February, and a flat-screen TV give the main living area a warmth and character that makes settling in feel immediate. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker and everything needed for cooking in, and the picnic-style dining table for four just steps away gives meals a casual, unhurried quality. Wildlife visible from the windows is a regular part of the River Rush experience.

The Queen Bedroom

The queen bedroom has exposed beams, natural light, rustic cabin décor, and a private full bath nearby — a comfortable, well-finished room that earns its quiet after a full day on the Pigeon Forge Parkway or on the trails. The flat-screen TV is there when the evening calls for it; the open window and the river sounds are there when it doesn't.

The Loft & Jetted Tub

The loft has its own full bath with a jetted tub — a private soaking space above the main floor, the right way to end any day on the river or in Pigeon Forge. The loft's quiet remove from the main living area makes it a natural retreat within the cabin.

The Deck, Hot Tub & River

The covered deck looks out over the Little Pigeon River from the bluff above, with rocking chairs positioned for the view and the hot tub alongside them. The river sounds carry up to the deck at every hour, and the surrounding forest keeps the whole outdoor space naturally private. A charcoal grill handles outdoor cooking for anyone who wants dinner with the river below.

Location

River Rush sits near The Island in Pigeon Forge. One parking space and keyless 24-hour check-in, with linens and towels provided.

A bluff above the river, a stone fireplace inside, a jetted tub in the loft, and a hot tub on the deck overlooking the water — River Rush is the riverfront cabin that delivers.

Comfortable cabin. Very secluded, dark, and quiet(all big plusses). Couldn't get the cabin temp below 77 during the day (until 10-11pm) front porch light out. No batteries in flashlight added to the darkness of the power outage.

We had a wonderful stay at our cabin from Colonial Properties in Gatlinburg! The cabin was spotless and very tidy when we arrived, which made us feel right at home immediately. The check-in instructions were clear, simple, and easy to follow. No confusion at all. What really stood out was the communication. It was exceptional, honestly the best we've ever experienced with any rental property. They were responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect for our trip.We especially loved the hot tub! It was very nice, clean, and the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the Smoky Mountains.Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Colonial Properties and will definitely be booking with them again on our next visit to Gatlinburg!

Very Nice and secluded. No wifi which was a welcome change to put away the devices and take in the wonderful scenic river. Would definitely recommend. Was clean and staff were very accommodating.

We enjoyed are stay very much and cabin was perfect for the 2 of us. It was very quiet and relaxing. The only problem we saw was your signs need to be at the entrance for which cabins are there under your sign at the main road before the bridge and at the barn with lights on them It is very hard to see in the dark with rain and fog.
